The Spokane Chiefs will hold a press conference tomorrow at Avista Stadium in Spokane to announce "a special event".
They're holding a press conference at the local baseball stadium....gee, what could this announcement involve?

The fact that the game between Spokane and Kootenay on Saturday, January 15th is now listed at 1 PM is telling. It's going to mean they beat Calgary/Regina by just more than a month!
Sounds like they want to hold it at the baseball stadium? I sure hope they don't. Not only are the sight lines much worse than a football stadium, but the capacity at Avista Stadium is only 7K, while Joe Albi Stadium holds 28K. Now I don't expect them to sell 28,000 tickets for this game, but I would expect them to be able to get more than 7,000.
