The horrible, horrible summer for NHL tough guys continues apparently, with the news that the recently-retired Wade Belak was found dead in a Toronto condo/hotel complex today.
That makes three deaths this offseason - first Derek Boogaard, then Rick Rypien just 16 days ago, and now Belak. All current (or very recently former, in Belak's case) NHL enforcers, and coincidentally also all former WHLers.
And every one a tragedy.
