Valchar gone in Lethbridge

Today's Lethbridge Herald reports that overage import forward Radim Valchar has been placed on waivers by the Hurricanes, as they make room for new overage forward Dustin Donaghy and also get back down to two imports after the arrival of Luca Sbisa from the NHL.

I think this may be the end of Valchar's WHL career, since he takes up both an overage and an import spot. Both Calgary and Kelowna still have openings for both overage and import players and could claim him without having to move out anyone else, but I don't think it that happen. More likely Valchar will move on to the minor pro ranks or return to Europe.
