Interesting tidbit I just read - the Hitmen and Wheat Kings play tonight in Brandon in their first meeting since Brandon beat Calgary in the Memorial Cup semi-final back in May. But of the 38 players who played in that game, only 15 will play tonight - 7 for Calgary and 8 for Brandon. That's some significant turnover these two teams have had....
The game is on Shaw and if the Hitmen lose, it will be their 13th consecutive loss, which will set a new franchise record. The 1995-96 expansion edition of the team lost 12 in a row twice that year.
