Prince Albert sends 18 year old defenceman Justin Palazzo to Vancouver for a 6th round bantam pick.
For the Raiders, the deal washes their hands of a first-round bantam bust. To get only a 6th round pick for Palazzo shows his progression since being drafted hasn't been as good as was obviously projected on draft day.

and it's a 2009 draft choice! Have anyone heard where Jeff Regier has been assigned to? It was reported Friday by Nick Patterson on his blog that he was being re-assigned http://www.heraldnet.com/article/20071013/BLOG12/71013002 and he was deleted from the Silvertips roster on the WHL web site, but nothing about where he is going to go to... Anyone hear anything?
Regier is from B.C. so look for him to resurface either playing Jr A in the BCHL, or AAA midget in the B.C. major midget league. There are links to both league websites on the blog. Jr B (PIJHL?) might be another possibility but I'd bet more on Jr A or midget.
You might have to wait a few days before his name shows up on anyone's roster, but keep checking and he'll show up somewhere soon enough.
