Another head coaching vacancy just opened up in the WHL: Bill Peters has left the Chiefs to accept the head coaching position with the Rockford IceHogs in the AHL.
The search for his replacement is underway....I'm thinking that assistant Hardy Sauter might not be a bad choice. But there's lots of good candidates out there and whoever gets the job is going to step into a pretty good situation, with much of the core of that Memorial Cup winning team returning next year.
