Another day, another veteran no-shows a WHL team. This time it's Brad Riege who has failed to show up at the Prince George Cougars camp, and nobody seems to know where he is or why he isn't there. Riege was known to be not thrilled about being traded to the Cougars back in January so this development probably isn't a surprise to anyone though.
Also in that article was P.G.'s coach calling out some other veterans (without naming names) who need to show more if they want to stay in the league.
The first news out of Oil Kings camp.....nice to see the Edmonton media acknowledge that the Oil Kings camp was going on, finally. Still nothing from the Edmonton Journal. Anyway, that's a nice piece on an undrafted kid with a shot to make the team this year.
Everett looks to have some homegrown talent this year, their first true local player on the team.
The Giants' new Russian is in camp and excited to be there.
More news later if anything comes up....and still trying to get rosters together for about 6 or 7 teams who haven't made a peep about who's in their camps yet....
