Another overage move yesterday, as the Spokane Chiefs placed forward Kenton Miller on league waivers (presumably to release him) and saw him claimed by the Calgary Hitmen.
Miller is a 3 year WHL vet who had 28 points in 55 games last year for the Chiefs. He joins goaltender Michael Snider, defenceman Ben Wilson, and forward Jimmy Bubnick to make four overagers in Calgary. Obviously that is one too many; with the Hitmen recently acquiring goaltender Chris Driedger from Tri-City, and also having 19 year old Brandon Glover returning in net from last year, it appears that things aren't looking very good for Snider.
For the Chiefs, waiving Miller brings them down to four overagers also - defenceman Corbin Baldwin and forwards Darren Kramer, Matt Marantz, and Steven Kuhn.
