This deal clears up the Blades' overage situation; they are left with Derek Hulak, Walker Wintoneak, and Sam Klassen as their three. Vancouver had room for an import, so no problems there, but they do have four overagers now. However, Garry Nunn is injured long-term so the Giants will probably not have to make another overage move until Nunn is ready to return, whenever that is.
So the Blades did not have to get rid of Hampus Gustafsson after all.....do they ask him back now?

The Blades were pretty much screwed because they did not know that Sam Klassen was going to return,if they are allowed to let Gustafsson come back it would be a smart choice instead of giving up another draft pick in a trade.
I am quite sure that Gustafsson has found a place to play, and I would be shocked if he can/will come back to play in the WHL this season.
After watching the evening NEWS in Saskatoon they are saying the team does not plan to bring back Hampus Gustafsson so my guess is they will just waite and see where they are at the trading deadline weather they need one or not
