Hamonic done

TSN is reporting that Moose Jaw Warriors defenceman Travis Hamonic suffered a separated shoulder when he was cheap-shotted into the boards from behind by Swiss forward Jeffrey Fuglister in the final minute of Canada's win.

Depending on the severity, he's probably out anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks. Big blow for the Warriors, especially if they were planning to trade Hamonic before the WHL trade deadline.

Fuglister deserved a beating for that hit (last minute of the game, you're down 6-1, why are you hitting people from behind???) and there were probably 21 players on the Canadian team ready to give him one. Too bad the linesmen got to him first.
