Not official but it is rumoured that Moose Jaw has dealt 19 year old defenceman Travis Hamonic to Brandon for 17 year old defenceman Dallas Erhardt and draft picks. No details on the picks.
Not a bad move by Truitt. MJ still went 5-1 since the Christmas break without Hamonic, and he's going to be out for another 5-6 weeks. And MJ is getting a 1st & 2nd rounder in a deep '10 draft, even though those picks will be later in the rounds. Can always flip those picks later too. And Hamonic gets to play in the Mem Cup in his hoome province. I like it for both sides. Kris Hom
