As most of you know, former NHL coach Pat Burns is battling cancer, a battle that he acknowledged back in April he was going to lose.
This morning some media outlets (apparently spurred by some Twitter postings) reported that Burns had died. TSN's Bob McKenzie soon got a call from Burns to set the record straight, and wrote what turned into a pretty gosh darn nice tribute to Burns in his regular TSN column today. Check it out.
