As per Gregg Drinnan, the Cam Reid-to-Portland deal has more than initially met the eye.
The 2012 8th round pick that was announced as going from Portland to Edmonton for the rights to Reid was a conditional pick. The pick turns into a 2013 2nd round pick if Reid reports to Portland. Since it definitely appears that he is reporting to Portland, we can probably assume Edmonton is getting that 2nd rounder.
