Appears I guessed the wrong overager was on the way out of Moose Jaw: Kelowna has just announced they have acquired overage forward Brett Lyon from the Warriors.
In return for Lyon, the Warriors receive a 2013 7th round bantam pick and a 2014 5th round bantam pick. Seems.....dirt cheap for a player with Lyons' numbers and pugilistic skills this year?
The trade gave Kelowna four overagers, which they resolved by releasing defenceman Kevin Smith.
