The Team Pacific (B.C./Alberta) roster for the World U-17 Challenge will be announced this afternoon. There were 16 WHLers on the Team Western roster and there should be a similar number on the Pacific roster, I would think.
The Hitmen are close to announcing a sellout of the Teddy Bear Toss game on December 2 against the visiting Prince George Cougars. At a capacity of 19,289, it would set a new WHL attendance record - the current record is a crowd of 19,103 to see a game in Portland in March 1997. They also hope to top last year's total of 15,540 teddy bears collected.
After waiting out the first part of the season, former WHL star and onetime NHLer Jared Aulin finally becomes eligible to play for the University of Calgary hockey team this weekend. We'll see how he does.....there's not a lot of former NHLers who have played at this level so he should be a dominant player, but the Dinosaurs also aren't a very good team this year either so he might not have a lot of support.
Jim Swanson of the Prince George Citizen takes a look at whether the WHL is starting to win more and more of the recruiting wars with the NCAA over players.
The Blades' Ondrej Fiala is, apparently, fearless. So says both his shins AND coach Lorne Molleken.
More on Casey Pierro-Zabotel's move to Vancouver. Sounds like he'll start on a line with a couple of rookies and work his way up?
UPDATE: Mike Reich is on the move again, as he was traded today from Vancouver to Saskatoon for a 2009 7th round pick. Not a surprise as he has been a healthy scratch in 4 of the Giants' last 5 games, and 19 year olds can't do that and stay on a team. In the little over two years since November 2, 2005, Reich has now been with five teams: Spokane, Calgary, Regina, Vancouver, and now Saskatoon.

Probably a stupid question...but, Will you be posting the Team Pacific roster?
Yes, when it's announced. Or a link to it anyway.
