According to a press release from the Calgary Hitmen, with Brett Sonne making the Canadian junior team, the Hitmen have now put a player on the Canadian team for six straight years:
2008-09: Sonne
2007-08: Karl Alzner
2006-07: Karl Alzner
2005-06: Justin Pogge
2004-05: Ryan Getzlaf, Andrew Ladd
2003-04: Ryan Getzlaf
Has any WHL team had a longer streak than that? This would be extremely time-consuming for me to look up, so I'm hoping fans of the individual teams out there might know if their team has a streak longer than this....

I think starting in 1990-97 Brandon Wheat Kings had a player on each World Jr. Team (Canada) 90,91,92 Trevor Kidd: 93, Darcy Werenka: 94,Marty Murray, Bryan McCabe: 95, Marty Murray, Bryan McCabe, Wade Rhedden: 96, Wade Rhedden: 97, Peter Schaefer.
That streak can't include 1992 because Kidd was not a Wheat King in 91-92. He was traded to Spokane in 90-91 and won the Memorial Cup with the Chiefs that year.
The rest of it looks good though (assuming Werenka was a Wheat King at the time of the WJCs in 92-93, he was traded from Lethbridge in midseason but I don't know the date of the trade), so the Wheaties had a five year streak from 93 to 97.
