Hitmen and Thunderbirds make a trade this morning, Calgary taking a step to alleviate their glut of defencemen by sending 18 year old Erik Bonsor to Seattle for a 2010 6th round bantam pick.
Not a bad deal for Seattle, I think Bonsor is a decent 5th/6th defenceman who could develop a bit more if he got more ice time than what he was getting in Calgary, where he had fallen behind younger guys on the depth chart.
