Goaltenders:
Martin Jones (Calgary)
Defence:
Jared Cowen (Spokane)
Travis Hamonic (Moose Jaw)
Colten Teubert (Regina)
Forwards:
Cody Eakin (Swift Current)
Jordan Eberle (Regina)
Scott Glennie (Brandon)
Brandon Kozun (Calgary)
Brandon McMillan (Kelowna)
Brayden Schenn (Brandon)
There are also two NCAA or NCAA-bound players from the prairies as well - defenceman Dylan Olsen of Camrose (AJHL) who is Medicine Hat Tigers property, and defenceman Patrick Wiercioch of Denver University, who is Portland Winterhawks property.
Only seven WHL teams have players invited this year - Brandon, Calgary, and Regina have two each, and one each from Kelowna, Moose Jaw, Spokane, and Swift Current.
One other note - Teubert and Eberle are veterans of last year's team, two of only seven returning players. Their spots should be considered safe, in the absence of injuries or absolutely brutal selection camps. Eberle could have a leg amputated and still make the team after his heroics of last year.
Everyone else.....better have a good camp if they want to make the team. Should be tough decisions for the coaches, like always.
Oh, and we can only hope that for the game that Canada wears their green jerseys, that they take special care in avoiding too-many-men penalties.....

Another too many men penalty joke? Wow, that's pretty original.
