Another coaching vacancy

Gregg Drinnan is reporting that the Lethbridge Hurricanes will be parting ways with coach Michael Dyck sometime in the next couple days. Reportedly Dyck and G.M. Ray Stasiuk haven't seen eye to eye for some time now, so somebody has to go - and when was the last time a G.M. lost one of those battles of wills with his coach?

Assuming Dyck does lose his job in Lethbridge, I believe there will be four head coaching vacancies in the WHL: Chilliwack, Everett, Regina, and Lethbridge.

Regina apparently already has their shortlist down to two people - former Warriors & Pats coach Curtis Hunt, and one other person who Pats G.M. Brent Parker did not identify. Apparently Marc Habscheid is NOT in the running in Regina, which means that Chilliwack, Everett, and Lethbridge still are.

And one other WHL finals note this morning - Kelowna and Calgary both flew back to Kelowna after the game last night. And yes, they were on the same plane again.
