If you check out the Victoria team website (www.vicwhl.com), you'll see that they have a "countdown clock" there, counting down to 9:30am Pacific time on Monday, when the team will apparently unveil their name, logo, and uniforms.
But, I think you can take it to the bank that the team will be called the Royals. Chris Creamer of sportslogos did some digging last week and came up with some evidence that while all circumstantial, certainly points very strongly in that direction.
So the surprise is ruined, but I guess that's what they get for taking so long to announce this.
