Now, some of these guys are only on pace for exactly 50 so they need to keep up their current pace for the rest of the season to hit the magic mark - something that some of them will no doubt not be able to do. Plus there's injuries, possible World Junior invites, etc, all things which will conspire to keep some of these guys from achieving 50. But you have to think Benn looks pretty good right about now, he's on pace for almost 70. He can slip a bit off that pace and still hit 50.
The WHL has not seen a 50 goal scorer the past two seasons. The last WHLer to score 50 goals was the Rockets' Justin Keller in 2005-06, when he got 51.
