Everett made a trade this morning to acquire another veteran forward with some proven scoring punch. They have acquired overage import forward Daniel Bartek from Brandon for a 4th round bantam pick.
Bartek scored 22 goals last year for the Wheat Kings, which would rank him 2nd amongst Silvertips veterans behind only Kyle Beach. Everett had room for both an overager and an import, while Brandon had (and still has) too many overagers, making Bartek expendable.
