Tigers, Raiders to play benefit game

Here's a really nice story that just came up on WHL.ca......basically the Sept 9 exhibition game in Medicine Hat between the Tigers and Raiders will be a benefit game for Medicine Hat minor hockey organizer Tony Aasman, who has terminal cancer. Here's a bit more on Tony Aasman and his battle with cancer in this article.

His son Ryan will be playing for the Raiders in that game (he was the Raiders' 1st round bantam pick in 2007), and Tony will get to realize his dream of coaching the Tigers by being behind their bench for a period.

Now, if this story doesn't warm your heart, then perhaps you don't have one.
