The Pats have released overage forwards Ryan DePape and Kirt Hill. These two guys are now available to any team that wants a 3rd-line overage forward. Hill is currently hurt (broken thumb) and won't be able to play for another 6-8 weeks, however.
The cuts reduce the Pats from 6 overagers to 4. They now have to make one more decision before October 16, between Victor Bartley, Scott Doucet, Josh Elder, or Michael MacAngus.
