No doubt several players from both teams will be in the WHL next year.
Vancouver is in Kelowna for game six of their series tonight. The Rockets will be trying to close out the series and advance to the WHL final. The Giants will be trying to force a game seven.
The Giants may have to do that without #1 goalie Tyson Sexsmith as well. Sexsmith did not travel with the team to Kelowna yesterday due to a bout of the flu. He is scheduled to make the trip up to Kelowna today, but there's no guarantee that he'll be able to play. If he can't, then backup Jamie Tucker will get his first WHL playoff start in the Giants' most important game of the year.
In the other CHL leagues, their finals are all set. In the OHL, it will be Windsor vs. Brampton, while in the QMJHL, it's Drummondville vs. Shawinigan. Those series winners, plus the winner of Calgary vs KEL/VAN, will join Rimouski in the Memorial Cup....
