How do the Calgary Hitmen beat the #1 team in the league (by winning %) on Friday and then lose to the 2nd-worst team in the league on Sunday? A team playing their 3rd game in 3 nights after getting beat by Red Deer and Edmonton by a combined score of 12-2?
Only one other note for the moment, and that is that the Philadelphia Flyers have to make a roster decision this week when they get Daniel Briere off the injured list. The feeling in Philly is that it might mean Luca Sbisa gets sent back to the Lethbridge Hurricanes. What a boost that would be for the Hurricanes, to add to your lineup a guy who has played 40 games in the NHL this season.
